I am a little bit surprised that in the new Firefox upgrade ( Firefox 3.5) Mozilla team hides the option to delete cookies from the main bar. I was trying to not upgrade my browser to Firefox 3.5 version but due to the lack of enough security updates, I forced to upgrade. In the earlier position of Clear Private Data in it is now changed with Start Private Browsing. So in a nutshell in the main menu, we cannot see an option to delete the stored cookies in Firefox 3.5.

- On the "Clear All History" window select cookies and click on clear now
Steps to Remove Stored Cookies from Firefox 3.5 and Latest Versions
There is a way to remove stored history from Firefox 3.5. That is:
- Open browser
- Click on Tools
- Click on options
- Click on the Privacy tab
- Now click on remove individual cookies
Now you can remove the cookies either by selecting the specific one which you need to delete and pressing Remove cookies or Click on Remove All Cookies to clear all of them together.
How to Remove Cookies from Firefox Version 3.6.3
Clearing browsing data in this version more straight forward and follow the steps below to perform it.
- Open browser
- Click on Tools
- Click on Clear Recent History
Now in Details make sure that the cookies checkbox is checked. Click on Clear Now to delete them in Firefox 3.6.3.
How to clear Cookies from Firefox 4
To clear cookies from this version, you should follow the steps below.

Completely agree. They need to bring that option back. Just switched to 3.53 and I hate that they have made it tedious to delete cookies. Chrome 3 keeps it like FF 3.0.
