The RAM module supported by Intel D945GCNL is DDR2 with a frequency of 533 MHz and DDR2 with 667 MHz. Intel D945GCN motherboard supports up to 2 GB of system RAM. It ignores anything more than this limit.

It is not free from downsides. One of the major issues I am seeing with this model is its limited RAM module support. It supports a maximum of 2 GB RAM only.

I have checked this model with Windows XP and Vista, and it works great. However, some of my hardcore Linux friends claim it is not so good with Linux. Still, I haven't checked with Linux. Let me do that, and after that, I will update this review.
