Steps to Change Facebook Business Page URL (2025)

Creating and maintaining a business page on Facebook is necessary in today's digital era. Today, I share my experience changing a Facebook business page's URL and display name.

CoreNetworkZ Tech Solutions maintains a business page on Facebook.com. I have administrative access to this business profile, while a few other staff have task access.

Users with task access maintain the business page of CoreNetworkZ Tech Solutions. As I mentioned in my previous press release, our company acquired a few brands, and the management wants to update the business page with those details.

Recently, Facebook has changed the steps to change the user's page URL and name. I learned about this change once our company asked me to change some information on the company's Facebook page.

I have changed the page name and URL of the Facebook page of CoreNetworkZ Tech Solutions. If you want to change the name or URL of your Facebook page, follow the steps below.

1. You should log into your Facebook account and select the company page (profile) by tapping the profile photo on the top right of the window.

2. Tap the settings under the Manage Page (on the left side).

3. Tap the Page Setup under the Audience and Visibility (on the left side).

4. Tap on the Name.

5. Click the settings icon to change the name and username. The new username will be the company name.

6. To change the Business name on your Facebook page, Click the Edit link near the name. Check this screenshot to learn how I changed the business name of our Facebook page.

   

   I deleted the old name and typed CoreNetworkZ Tech Solutions, as you can see in the screenshot.

   Tap the review change button to save the new business name on the Facebook page. Facebook will send a security key to the business email address associated with the Facebook page.

   Type the security key to complete the process.

I have changed the username to corenetworkz. So, the new Facebook page address (of our company) is https://facebook.com/corenetworkz.

Sunita Devi asked in the comments if having access to the email address associated with the Facebook account is necessary to complete the step. Yes, Sunita, it is necessary if Facebook asks you to enter the security code to finish the change.

Arun Kumar mentioned in the comment section that Facebook restricts users to a sixty-day waiting period before changing the business page URL.
